    The OQW Program entry fee for the March 2015 Sensory Evaluation is $50.00 per entry plus the retail price for 3 bottles of each entry.  Wine submitted for the quality seal designation must be made of 90% Ohio grown grapes consisting of Vitus vinifera, French/Americian hybrid's or American/Labrusca varieties.     OSU Extension, OSU Horticulture & Crop Science Department, KSUA VESTA Program, and the Ashtabula Research Station for the Ohio Agricultural Research & Development Center are pleased to be co-sponsoring the Northeast Ohio Winter Grape School.  Ohio Grape Producers are invited to this power-packed school. Reservations are due by noon March 2, 2015.  The registration fee for this program is $35 per person which includes program materials, lunch and refreshments. Ohio Private Pesticide Applicator's Re-certifiaction will be offered for CORE & Category 3-Grapes

    The Ohio Grape & Wine Conference (OGWC) will take place on February 16-17, 2015. at the newly-renovated Crowne Plaza Hotel & Conference Center in Dublin.  The conference is jointly organized by the Ohio Grape Industries Committee (OGIC), Ohio State University Extension, Department of Horticulture and Crop Science Viticulture and Enology Programs at OSU-OARDC and the Ohio Wine Producers Association  (OWPA).

    OSU/OARDC Enology program will once again conduct the annual 2015 Post Fermentation Workshops for the Ohio commercial wine industry.

    This day long session wil teach you how to grow Traminette Grapes in Ohio. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with the information session starting at 8:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided. Dress for the weather, as we will be visiting the plants in the field.
